Until just very recently, we have been quite optimistic about being able to keep our annual November Conference on schedule since COVID-19 cases in NYC have plummeted and have remained low. Unfortunately, reality has now caught up with us and it is increasingly obvious that our Conference this year must be cancelled after all. Travel restrictions to the U.S., restrictions on mass gatherings in NYC and even uncertainties about availability of our venues for the meeting are leaving us, simply, no other choice.

We have given serious thoughts to converting the Conference to a virtual event but have chosen not to pursue this option since one of the main features that made the annual FRMC such a unique event has been the opportunity of direct person-to-person interactions between clinicians, basic scientists and the audience; and this aspect is impossible to replicate even via multiple screen conferencing.

We, of course, are very sorry about this course of events and have already started planning for the year 2021. A tentative date for the Conference has been set for November 18-21, 2021, as usual the weekend before Thanksgiving. We sincerely hope to be able to count in your participation.
